Djynamo, ATD Fourth World’s European youth network, was founded in 2010 to bring together young people from all over Europe who are engaged in the fight against poverty, extreme poverty and social exclusion.
As part of the Stop Poverty Campaign , Djynamo worked closely with ATD Fourth World’s national team in the Netherlands to organise a youth gathering in Wijhe from August 10 to 14. A total of 150 young people took part in this key event which included fun, intellectual, artistic and sporting activities. The aim of the gathering was to raise awareness of the problem of poverty in the world, and particularly in Europe where it is often neglected.
