ATD Country Organizations
A national ATD Fourth World association is created in each country as soon as made possible through the commitment of new people joining the teams. It ensures the public, administrative and financial responsibility of ATD Fourth World within the specific country. A member of the International Leadership Team, or one of its representatives, is a member of Board of Directors for each association.
A national association exists in the following countries: Germany, Belgium, Canada, Spain, USA, France, UK, Guatemala, Ireland, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Republic of Mauritius, and Switzerland.
When there is no national association, ATD Fourth World is represented and acts in the country as an antenna, team or group working under an authorization from the Movement (such authorization can be given by the ATD Fourth World International Movement or ATD’s World and People of Tomorrow), either as a group or an association of ATD Fourth World friends.
This is the case in the following countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Haiti, Honduras, Italy, the Philippines, Senegal, Tanzania, Thailand, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
